Prof Josaphat visited Indonesian Agency for Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Jakarta on 9 August 2012 for joint collaboration on microsatellite development between Indonesia and Japan to realize GAIA-II or Lapan-Chibasat or Lapan-A5. This satellite is circularly polarized synthetic aperture radar (CP-SAR) onboard microsatellite.
Preparing UAV Test at Karimunjawa Island (4 August 2012)
Prof Josaphat visited Karimunjawa island to check and prepare the Karimunjawa airport for Josaphat Laboratory Large Scale Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (JX-1) test flight at Indonesia to hold high altitude test of synthetic aperture radar onboard unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV SAR).
Prof Josaphat Visited TU Vienna, Austria (27 July 2012)
Prof Josaphat visited TU Wien on 27 July 2012 to promote collaboration between Chiba Unviersity and TU Vienna, Australia.
