Josaphat Laboratory (JMRSL) finished Hinotori-X1 (Firebird-X1) mission at Makassar, Indonesia on 2-10 August 2017. This first flight mission used Boeing 737-200 aircraft using linear polarized antenna that works in X band frequency (center frequency 9.2 GHz). We operated our X Band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system with bandwidth 30 MHz to adjust to bandwidth of antenna (slot array antenna, horizontal polarization). This SAR system will be employed for our microsatellite SAR (GAIA-II series) in the near future. This mission is collaboration of Chiba University, Universitas Indonesia, and Akademi Angkatan Udara to realize SAR system for disaster monitoring, especially land deformation. This mission got permission by Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI), Japanese Government, No. G-WI-17-600054, 26 April 2017.
