Testing our Ionospheric Electron Density Probe and Electron Temperature Probe in ISAS-JAXA
Our electron density probe and electron temperature probe were tested in ISAS-JAXA vacuum chamber to investigate the performance of these sensors before installing on our microsatellite GAIA-I to observe Ionospheric charateristics, May 2014.
New Josaphat Laboratory UAV JX-2
New Josaphat Laboratory UAV JX-2 was finished to develop for our microwave sensors (CP-SAR, GPS Reflectometry etc) experiments in the near future. Main wing span is 6 m and payload about 25 kg. (21 February 2014)
High Precision Microwave Device Manufacturing Machine
New high precision (+- 5 micron meter) machine to fabricate our microsatellite and Synthetic Aperture Radar components. This new facility will support Josaphat Laboratory research and academic activities to develop synthetic aperture radar onboard UAV and microsatellites. This facility is supported by Japanese Ministry of Education and Technology (30 October 2013)
Josaphat Laboratory Ground Test Equipment
Josaphat Laboratory has Ground Test Equipment for calibrate and investigate the performance of our microwave sensors, especially synthetic aperture radar (SAR). This equipment is employed for research and education activities in Josaphat Laboratory. ヨサファット研究室が、合成開口レーダ(SAR)をはじめ、マイクロ波センサの特性を校正と調査するための地上実証実験用の設備を所有しています。この設備がヨサファット研究室の教育と研究活動に活用されています。
